About The Advocate Path
We built this because finding a lawyer shouldn't feel harder than the problem you're trying to solve.

Why we exist
Ten phone calls is not a plan.
When something goes wrong (a crash, a firing, a denied claim, a family dispute) most people do the same thing: open a search engine, call whoever appears first, leave a voicemail, and start over. Some calls go to firms that don't handle that kind of case. Some go to firms in the wrong state. Most go unanswered for days.
The Advocate Path exists to shorten that stretch. You describe the problem once, in your own words. We route it to our attorneys who have told us they handle that kind of matter where you live, and one of them reaches out to you. That's the whole service, deliberately.
We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice. We think that's a feature: our only job is to make the introduction cleanly, explain what's happening at each step, and get out of the way.
An honest matching service should be able to describe everything it does in a paragraph. Here's ours.

How we operate
Four commitments
Plain language
Every page, form and message on this site is written so you don't need a legal dictionary. If something is confusing, tell us and we'll rewrite it.
Matched routing only
Your request goes to our attorneys matched to your practice area and location (never more than four) and not to a general marketing list.
No false urgency
We don't use countdown timers, fake availability or pressure tactics. Legal deadlines are real, and we say so plainly, but we won't manufacture them.
Easy exits
You can ask us to delete your request at any time. There is never an obligation to hire.

Our attorneys are independent practices that enroll with us to receive inquiries in specific practice areas and geographic areas. They pay a marketing fee for that service; you are never charged by us.
At enrollment, each of our attorneys confirms the practice areas they handle, the locations they serve, and that they hold an active license in good standing in every state where they accept matters. We don't evaluate skill, experience or outcomes, and we don't rank attorneys. We encourage you to check any attorney's license and disciplinary history with your state bar before hiring.
Our attorneys pay us marketing fees to receive matched inquiries. That is our only source of revenue from this service. We do not charge consumers and we do not take a percentage of any legal fee or settlement.
Details are in our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
We don't practice law, give legal advice, evaluate the merits of your case, or promise any result. We don't refer you to a specific attorney because they're "the best". We route requests by practice area and location. We don't send your request to more than four attorneys, and we don't resell it.
If you need urgent help, contact an attorney or your state bar's lawyer referral service directly. Full disclaimer.
